Chanel Highlighters Comparison Swatches

Wednesday, July 14, 2021

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I made a post about things I've been loving lately. I recently added a couple of more pieces from Chanel, including a new Illuminating Blush Powder from the Spring 2021 Collection, and my long overdue item on the wishlist - Duo de Camelias.

I will share some photos of individual highlighters and comparison swatches at the end.

Can we just take a moment for this beauty? I've been eyeing on this Duo de Camelias since it was launched while back, I couldn't get it off of my mind ever since.. Finally got my hands on, so glad to see this beauty in person...

It’s not a typical highlighter powder duo. So uniquely stunning, two sides of finely milled, light-reflecting powders give you the most gorgeous highlights on your skin.
You’ll be swooning by these beautiful sparkling particles in the powders- most subtle way of showing up on the skin but definitely there.

As you can see, Duo de Camelias has such a unique tones in these powders. Definitely it's on the strong highlighter side along with those reflective multicolored sparkles, not so subtle by any means. Full intensity powders with those sparkles looking more platinum & yellowish golden than any other highlighting powders from Chanel. Absolutely stunning!

You can definitely mix these two shades for more intensity on the cheeks, but I tend to use these two powders in different areas- cheekbones, bridge of nose, and cupid’s bow.

I would love to share this comparison swatch with you guys so bad! Each and every one of these highlighters/illuminating powders are uniquely beautiful on its own, finishes are slightly different than each other.
