I am so sorry that I haven't been around much in this space. I finally got my blog name back in October 2022, so I was going to post a lot of stuff related to Best of Skincare, Makeup and Lifestyle Faves... but I couldn't keep my promises up due to my personal reasons. I will try my best to post at least 2 posts a month this year!
I tried a lot of new skincare products in 2022, but there are some old favorite of mine that I always go back to. Not particularly my skin had issues during the year, but some of the products were simply just irreplaceable to me. Some are not included here in the picture because I already ran out of them, didn't get a change to replenish yet, but I will mention it in the post before I forget.. :)
Some of the items are the repeats from last year - RETROUVE, SULWHASOO, and AMORE PACIFIC - but I extended my adventures on new skincare items. Let me breakdown everything I've been loving during the past year here, but first I will introduce new skincare brands I've tried in 2022.

1. IRENE FORTE SKINCARE
New skincare brand that I've tried in the fall season last year, and immediately fell in love with! Using al natural ingredients, vegan-friendly products, all 3 products down below work wonders on my dry, sensitive skin, how how I feel on my skin next morning.

| Irene Forte Skincare TONER |
I am currently using Lemon Toner from Irene Forte Skincare, but for some reason, I can't find it anywhere else. I heard so many good things about their Helichrysum Toner as well, their toner is just so perfect for next skincare item that you are applying on your skin. The mist is so fine and love the hydrating it gives on the skin.

2. TRINNY LONDON
I adore their makeup products but this year, Trinny London's skincare launch caught my eyes and didn't disappoint. Cleanser and their serum are all gentle and effective, I would like to explore more of their skincare items in 2023!
BE YOUR BEST ENZYME BALM CLEANSER
Very unique texture, weirdly satisfying cleanser when you are washing your face. :) Thick gel consistency at first, then warmed up on your skin after working it in. This cleanser removes all of your makeup and SPF, and I use wet muslin cloth to clean your face. I usually double cleanse with BETTER OFF AHA/PHA GEL CLEANSER for clean, nourished skin.
3. THE OUTSET
I've tried The Outset Skincare by Scarlett Johansson in 2022 when they first launched in Sephora. I'll be honest with you, I started out skeptical (like any other influencer/famous actress created brands), but I was quite surprised how much I enjoyed their products, completely used up all 3 items in their Essential Kit.

4. EXPONENT BEAUTY
Such an innovative system and skincare approach. I really love their system how effective the serum works on every skin, enjoy layering different serum using their formula. So fun and cool to use their serums every night!
RETINOL SERUM STARTER KIT
5. MERIT BEAUTY
Merit Beauty is mainly focused their minimal makeup products, but this GREAT SKIN GLOW SERUM is such a unique and beautiful serum that I thoroughly enjoy every time I use it. It's lightweight, instantly hydrates and plumps skin for a healthy glow!
6. COMMON HEIR
This retinol serum comes in perfectly dosed, no-guesswork capsules that are made of plant-based material and melt in water. This Retinol serum is gentle enough that I can use it every night - became part of my nightly routine now.
7. KJAER WEIS
Another makeup brand that caught my attention in 2022.
It's hydrating night serum infused with effective organically powered ingredients to gently exfoliate for glowing skin by morning. I really enjoyed this serum, will continue to use it at night.
8. RETROUVE
This brand is one of my favorite skincare brand, I love them for years at this point. Every product I tried from RETROUVE, there was nothing I didn't enjoy! Another great year with these products...

9. AMORE PACIFIC
TIME RESPONSE SKIN RESERVE CREME
Creamy, rich, luxurious creme that I've been using for years. This makes my skin supple, nourished, and well hydrated. Love the scent too!
ENZYME PEEL CLEANSING POWDER I believe I included this Enzyme Powder in my Best of 2021 list as well. One of those products that I can't live without! Most gentle exfoliator for my sensitive skin.
10. DERMALOGICA
Probably I've known and used this brand's products for way over a decade... I still love their DAILY EXFOLIANT and their new DAILY MILKFOLIANT as well.
AGE SMART DYNAMIC SKIN RECOVERY SPF 50
Keep repurchasing product! Moisturizer and SPF in one! One of my essential daily skincare item that I use it all the time!
One of my skincare investment of 2022! This is the device that has 4 different modes with different LED lights for specific needs for my skin. Huge improvement on my skin texture and fine lines. Best Mother's Day gift for myself in 2022 and I still love using this device!
12. SUPERGOOP UNSEEN SUNSCREEN SPF 40
I have tried quite a few of SPF products in 2022, but this one made a cut since I repurchased this one. Clear gel type SPF with silicone-y feel to it, but it works great with makeup on top.
13. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - POLYPEPTIDE-121 FUTURE CREAM
I love this cream so much! I completely used up and about to repurchase new one soon. My skin loved it so much - it is very lightweight cream that instantly hydrates my skin, definitely helps out the visible lines and wrinkles. Truly a FUTURE CREAM for me! :)
14. KOH GEN DO - CLEANSING SPA WATER
My holy grail cleansing water! I can't live without!! This is truly an irreplaceable item for me that I always stock up when there's a sale on KohGenDo website. I love their Cleansing Spa Water Wipes for travel- that's another item that I never missed out on.
LAST TWO items are repeats from last year... that means I can't live without these items!:)
15. SULWHASOO First Care Activating Serum
Still going strong.. First step of my skincare routine. After cleansing my face, I use this serum as the first step of my routine, then add other serum with actives, then moisturizing my skin. Always go back to this, probably won't change my routine for a very long time...
16. VINTNER'S DAUGHTER ACTIVE BOTANICAL SERUM
This Vitamin C serum soothes my skin, moisturize, and nourishes with fatty acids and omega 3,6,7 and 9 to support the skin barrier. I only use two drops of this serum for the entire face.
These are my top picks for 2022 Skincare products. I am always open to try new skincare products and already found one new favorite this month, am excited to introduce you guys soon.
